My name is Christopher Knight and I am the owner of Knight and Taylor.The long journey of my working life as a Gents hairdresser started in 1962 when I was 14 years old with my father Leslie Knight, his partner Robert Taylor and Tony Carullo. I hope the following pages will be of interest to you,as it has been for me working at the shop. My father and Bob started the business on the 10th April 1953 and are both now retired.My father retired 21 years ago at the age of 70 and Bob 10 years ago at the age of 68 years. I have worked in the shop with quite a few different hairdressers in the past Michael Wilkins, Michael Tucker, Tony Carullo, Gerald Hook. There are two self-employed hairdressers working within the salon now. Nigel and Lee. I hope you find the following photos (old and new) interesting.
